Destination Elopements & Weddings
You can get married anywhere.
Where do you want to go?
REASONS WHY YOU MIGHT WANT TO PLAN AN ELOPEMENT INSTEAD
Intimacy with Your Partner
The less people there are, the more 1-on-1 time you get between you and your partner and the more 'together' you can feel.
Not to mention more photos of the two of you!
Do I even need to make the comparison? Here we go...
Google the average wedding cost in the U.S. and you might see numbers like $19,000 - $35,000. SO MUCH work goes into a wedding so it makes sense, but those are huge numbers if you don't need all of that!
Think of all the ways you can repurpose those funds if you chose to elope: plane tickets, excursions, afford extra time off, eat more food, etc.
You can plan the most badass trip for two and still come in "under budget".
At large guest count weddings, I have heard so many of my couples say they feel bad for not giving enough of their time to each and every one of their guests. WHAT?!
Throw a party when you get back! No one should feel bad on their wedding day.
Be Your Authentic Self!
My wife and I are not the center-of-attention type so if we had gone ahead with our original plan of having a big wedding, we would've spent the entire time probably feeling socially awkward and that would have kept us inside of our heads instead of enjoying the day.
Because we were with a tiny party in the mountains, we were able to really feel like ourselves for our wedding and it shows!
